<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Laborer w/CDL</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Requirements for an Underground CDL Laborer:</p> <p>Pass a background check and drug test</p> <p>Class "A" CDL</p> <p>Tasks Required for an Underground CDL Laborer:</p> <p>Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.</p> <p>Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.</p> <p>Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.</p> <p>Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.</p> <p>Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.</p> <p>Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.</p> <p>Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications.</p> <p>Tend to pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment</p> <p>Erect or dismantle traffic barricades or other temporary structures for safety.</p> <p>Lubricate and clean machinery, equipment, or tools.</p> <p>Utilize machinery, such as a directional drill, to drill holes in a multitude of different types of dirt and clay.</p> <p>Knowledge Required of an Underground CDL Laborer:</p> <p>Building and Construction- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in underground construction for CATV telecommunications systems.</p> <p>Mechanical- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.</p> <p>Safety- Knowledge of relevant safety procedures in a construction setting.</p> <p>Disclaimer Statement This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with this position.
