<p>The work study employee is a part-time employee under the direction and supervision of the Assistant to the Libraries and Academic Support Services Muncie Campus. The employee will receive a training period which will include a Part-Time Library Assistant Guide which will discuss in detail the following job duties listed below.</p> <p>Opening and closing procedures for the library.</p> <p>Checking in and checking library materials.</p> <p>Registering library users.</p> <p>Observing Circulation Desk protocol.</p> <p>Becoming familiar with the library's web pages and resources.</p> <p>Becoming familiar with Just In Time accounts and procedures.</p> <p>Learning how to use the electronic pay system, Adobe Sign/EchoSign.</p> <p>To Qualify for our Federal Work Study program students:</p> <p>Must be authorized to work in the United States</p> <ul> <li>Must have a high school diploma or GED. </li><li>Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours each semester. </li><li>Students must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress as determined by the Financial Aid Office. </li><li>Students must have a current and completed FAFSA on file. </li><li>Student must demonstrate financial need. </li></ul> <p>Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment</p> <p>background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
