You'll balance growth, profitability, and risk while partnering across the business to deliver competitive, compliant, and customer-centric products.</p> <p> </p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Product Strategy & Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Shape product strategy, including portfolio segmentation, appetite refinement, and growth priorities </li><li>Partner with Actuarial and Finance on scenario analysis, rate adequacy, and performance forecasting </li><li>Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and legislative changes to guide product decisions </li><li>Support executive leadership with insights on CAT exposure, geographic concentration, and volatility </li></ul> <p>Product Development & Regulatory Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Oversee development of policy forms, endorsements, coverage enhancements, and rate/rule changes </li><li>Lead state-level product filings and regulatory approvals </li><li>Ensure compliance with state regulations and support audits, market conduct exams, and regulatory reviews </li></ul> <p>Lifecycle Management & Performance</p> <ul> <li>Own product lifecycle execution, including rule changes, form updates, and underwriting enhancements </li><li>Monitor and manage product performance metrics-loss ratio, combined ratio, retention, and growth </li><li>Recommend targeted actions to improve profitability, retention, and market competitiveness </li></ul> <p>Customer, Agent & Team Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Improve product clarity, usability, and competitiveness for customers and agents </li><li>Reduce friction in quoting, binding, and servicing through thoughtful product design </li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product team, fostering accountability and growth </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred </li><li>10-14 years of progressive experience in product management, underwriting, or insurance strategy </li><li>Deep experience in Property & Casualty homeowners insurance </li><li>Proven success supporting regulatory filings, audits, and examinations in regulated environments </li><li>Working knowledge of CAT modeling, exposure management, and portfolio analytics </li><li>Ability to interpret actuarial analyses and balance growth, profitability, and risk </li><li>Strong judgment, strategic thinking, and comfort leading through change </li><li>Collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership style </li><li>Commitment to living Slide's Core Values </li></ul>
