<p>APPLICATION DEADLINE: January 14th, 2026 (end of business) "Make it Beautiful, Keep it Beautiful!"</p> <p>Bring your hard work, pride, and skill to the parks that keep</p> <p>our community thriving.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:</p> <p>(outdoor athletic facilities)</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operates trucks, tractors, mowers, loaders, and hand tools to maintain outdoor athletic grounds and facilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Leads maintenance tasks including painting, field prep, landscaping, mowing, and concrete work.</p> </li><li> <p>including turf maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with custodial duties and trash removal.</p> </li><li> <p>Handles landscaping tasks such as trimming, pruning, mulching, and storm cleanup.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains records, prepares reports, and coordinates with facility users.</p> </li><li> <p>Attends meetings and required training sessions.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED, with 1 yr. of vocational school preferred </li><li>1-2 years' experience operating light & medium equipment (or equivalent combination of education and experience) </li><li>Must be able to obtain KY State Pesticide License within one year </li></ul> <p>SALARY:</p> <ul> <li>Pay Grade G3; $47,194 annually </li></ul> <p>WORK HOURS:</p> <ul> <li>40 hrs. a week; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 p.m.; occasional overtime </li></ul> <p>The City of Bowling Green is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug - Free Workplace.</p> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or disability.</p>
