<p>Title: Operations Support Specialist</p> <p>Location: West Des Moines, IA</p> <p>Alternate Location: Charlotte, NC; Tempe, AZ; Irving, TX</p> <p>Duration: 12 months</p> <p>Work Engagement: W2</p> <p>Work Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote</p> <p>Benefits on offer for this contract position: Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K and Voluntary Benefits</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Support Business Execution; proactively seek ways to improve processes. Perform moderately complex administrative support tasks. Receive direction from supervisor and escalate non-routine questions. Interact with client personnel on a range of information.</p> <p>This role completes Know Your Customer reviews and quality controls related to contract packages for new Merchant Services accounts prior to onboarding. In this role you will complete CIP/CDD activities aligned against the AML policy and work within our boarding platform. Request which requires correction and rejected to sales for correction prior to onboarding.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Support Operations in completing larger and more complex business, operational, and customer support initiatives and overall effectiveness of team performance </li><li>Complete Know Your Customer reviews prior to Account Opening </li><li>Use technical expertise in the designated area and resolve escalated issues </li><li>Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and customer support </li><li>Perform complex operational and customer support initiatives within Operations functional area </li><li>Assist staff, managers, and colleagues and provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures </li><li>Apply technical knowledge and expertise to perform work and action requests </li><li>Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to staff </li><li>Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals </li><li>Interact with internal customers </li><li>Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 2+ Years of demonstrated experience and strong working knowledge of the Know your Customer (KYC), AML, BSA, CIP and CDD compliance processes. </li><li>Proven experience in quality monitoring and/or assurance </li><li>Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume workloads & adherence to SLAs. </li><li>Minimum 2+ Years of banking experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Underwriting experience </li></ul>
