<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Correspondence Educational Program Instructor will serve as both instructor and assessor for students enrolled in a specific course under the RWU Extension School's Correspondence Educational Program (CEP). The incumbent will serve on a semester basis and may be assigned to teach in any of the University's semesters or terms.</p> <p>CEP is a formal educational process that is self-paced by the participant and under which the instructor provides instructional materials and examinations by mail to program participants. Interaction between the instructor and the student is limited, is not regular and substantive, and is primarily initiated by the student.</p> <p>Teaching</p> <p>Teach content knowledge, as well as critical thinking.</p> <p>Assess submissions of evidence for all course assessments.</p> <p>Assess content knowledge including a review of pre-assessment, mid and end of program assessments.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Master's degree in the specific field of interest.</p> <p>Provide evidence of recent college-level teaching effectiveness.</p> <p>At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Roger Williams University is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and com-mitted to a diverse workforce.
