<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Allergy Service - the main clinic is located in the Clinic and Specialty Center in downtown Minneapolis. This role may require metro travel to provide coverage at North Loop, Richfield, and Golden Valley clinics - and future expansion allergy clinics. This position is a full-time, day shift position (1.0 FTE, 10 shifts/ pay period, 8-hour shifts).</p> <p>A sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates (current employees and former employees returning to HHS</p> <p>within one year are ineligible).</p> <ul> <li>This position is currently Monday-Friday day hours but may expand to include evenings and weekends as we grow. </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:</p> <ul> <li>Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health </li><li>Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care </li><li>Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response </li><li>Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others </li><li>Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care </li><li>Educating patient on their disease process </li><li>Assuring continuity of care </li><li>Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from an accredited school of nursing </li><li>Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota </li><li>One year of Allergy/Asthma experience </li><li>Valid Driver's License and availability of an insured vehicle required </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Certification in area of clinical specialty </li><li>EPIC experience </li><li>Allergy shot lab experience </li><li>BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged.
