They will take a leadership position at all times in regards to the NYS initiatives of Providing an Injury Free Workplace - Team Development and improving Bottom Line Results. They will be expected to work toward and support the short and long term goals of Nucor, NYS, and the Rolling Mill. This position will require working on multiple tasks, communicating with all departments, and developing the team in order to take care of our customers in all aspects including Quality/Productivity and Costs. The position will require rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, along with other activities on days off if necessary. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Requirements: One year of leadership experience Detailed Selection Criteria: Leadership Presence and Courage: Willingness and confidence to have immediate and direct conversations on critical alignment issues such as teamwork, building relationships, initiating, and supporting change, and production process issues that arise.
