Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram. This position will support all the facilities in the market as needed.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs Echocardiograms using a departmental protocol for obtaining images. </li><li>Assists with TEE's and stress testing, providing images that support the physician's ability to diagnose patients appropriately. </li><li>Sets priorities for completion of studies based on acuity, patient preference and/or the coordination of care with nursing and other ancillary services. </li><li>Obtains EKGs that reflect appropriate lead placement, minimal artifact, and correct patient information. </li><li>Set's up and scans Holter Monitors, providing tracings that support the physician's ability to diagnose patients appropriately. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Education: Graduate of accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience. </li><li>Experience:6 months in clinical setting. </li><li>Certification: Registry eligible and BLS. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Experience: 2 years. </li><li>Certification: RDMS, RDCS, or RCS. </li></ul> <p>Organization Description</p> <p>Saint Vincent Hospital has been providing high-quality healthcare to Worcester and the surrounding communities for more than 125 years.
