<p>Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday: 9:00pm Start</p> <p>Purpose</p> <p>The Sanitation Technician is responsible for the general cleaning of the warehouse, offices, restrooms, break rooms and exterior grounds of the Distribution Center.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Gather debris and trash such as cardboard, tape, shrink wrap, paper and damaged product resulting from distribution functions, taking items to designated areas for re-coupe or disposal </li><li>Track dumped product for proper inventory adjustments and report numbers to the inventory department </li><li>Sweep, mop and dust warehouse areas including but not limited to break rooms, restrooms, offices and exterior grounds </li><li>Maintain pest control stations as required by SAL policy </li><li>Fill out required paperwork for job completion tracking </li><li>Safely operate heavy machinery such as pallet jacks, sit down forklift, floor scrubber, and reach trucks </li><li>Adhere to company policies, standards and best practices </li></ul> <p>About You</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age </li><li>High School diploma or equivalent preferred </li><li>Successful Completion of Powered Industrial Truck Operators Training (PITOT) certification required. (Training provided by the company) </li><li>Attention to detail and have strong communication skills in English </li><li>Must be able to count accurately, match and write numbers and Positive work history including safety and attendance </li><li>Strong work Ethic </li><li>Team spirit, self-motivated and initiative to support the needs of a fast pace environment </li><li>Willingness to work required shift schedules and varying days of the week including holidays and/or weekends </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to stand, bend, walk, kneel, squat, turn, reach, pull, push and lift up to 85 pounds, in a fast pace environment for extended period of time </li><li>Regularly works in freezers, coolers and refrigerators in temperatures as low as -15 degrees Fahrenheit </li><li>Must have the ability to stand, walk and / or move about for extended periods of time </li><li>Requires the ability to push, pull, grasp, twist and use sawing motions for extended periods of time </li></ul>
