US Foods is one of the largest food distributors with a culture and history of promoting from within, excellent training programs and a continuous improvement focus.</p> <p>The Warehouse Floater performs a variety of functions including but not limited to; industrial forklift/reach truck/high-lift operation, product selection, receiving and palletizing while adhering to USDA Safety and Sanitation Regulations and customer specifications.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operate forklift/reach truck to lower stock to ground level pick slots from higher level reserve slots</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and transport material to and from storage areas and loading docks</p> </li><li> <p>Place received stock in higher level reserve slots</p> </li><li> <p>Perform operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, and lift controls</p> </li><li> <p>Select and pack (Selection) orders per customer specification</p> </li><li> <p>Scan product as directed to capture required data</p> </li><li> <p>Ship and receive product utilizing assigned material handling equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned by management</p> </li><li> <p>Work continually in cooler (35°F- 45°F) & freezer (-10°F to +10°F), company apparel provided</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School graduate or GED preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Reading, Writing and Math skills</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience operating a forklift/high-lift is required</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum six months warehouse experience required</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to frequently lift 20lbs. - 80lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Work overtime as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Why US Foods</p> <p>At US Foods, we're committed to our mission of GREAT FOOD.
