The ideal candidate has experience training older adults and understands the importance of safe, functional, and individualized programming designed to support strength, balance, mobility, and overall wellness. The Personal Trainer works closely with therapists to facilitate one-on-one sessions with residents based upon individual needs. They educate our residents on leading a healthy lifestyle and encourage them as they go through fitness challenges and achievements. The Personal Trainer enjoys being on the go across the community and building meaningful relationships with residents and team members.</p> <p>Qualifications & Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Current Personal Training certification </li><li>Senior Fitness Instruction Certification a plus </li><li>Experience working with seniors or special populations strongly preferred </li><li>Strong knowledge of exercise modifications, fall prevention, balance training, and functional fitness </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Professional, punctual, and reliable </li><li>Ability to build rapport and create individualized training programs based on client needs and goals </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions </li><li>Provide group exercise instruction according to needs of facility </li><li>Perform fitness assessments and create individualized exercise plans </li><li>Lead health seminars and special events </li><li>Monitor client progress and adjust programs as needed </li><li>Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants </li><li>Maintain professional documentation as required </li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to customer service, dedication to professionalism, organizational excellence and success through teamwork </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.</p> <p>Options</p>
