<p>The Systems Administrator is expected to be highly skilled and self-motivated with experience in Hyper-V Clustering, server administration, scripting, and basic network fundamentals, to join our team. This role emphasizes technical expertise, problem-solving, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Deploy and manage Hyper-V Clusters, including shared storage, disk configurations, and load balancing. </li><li>Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments. </li><li>Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system management. </li><li>Collaborate with network team to support Fortinet firewalls, switches, and access points at the Oak Ridge facilities. </li><li>Monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and implement proactive maintenance strategies. </li><li>Maintain documentation for systems architecture, configurations, and procedures. </li><li>Provide on-site support to ensure rapid response to manufacturing needs. </li><li>Lead technical projects and proactively identify and resolve issues. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience. </li><li>Knowledge of Hyper-V and related infrastructure. </li><li>Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and PowerShell scripting. </li><li>Working knowledge of network engineering, including cabling and basic switch configuration. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. </li><li>Excellent communication and documentation abilities. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Experience in manufacturing or industrial IT environments. </li><li>Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage systems </li><li>Experience with Veeam Backups. </li><li>Familiarity with SQL queries, PowerBI, and PowerAutomate. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Clearly communicate in verbal and written form. </li><li>Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted. </li><li>Ability to sit at a desk and work on computer for extended periods. </li></ul>
