Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.</p> <p>How you'll make an impact in this role</p> <ul> <li>Lead daily maintenance and facility operations within a skilled nursing environment, ensuring compliance with CMS regulations, Life Safety Code standards, OSHA requirements, and state/federal healthcare guidelines. </li><li>Oversee preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, emergency systems, generators, and building equipment to support regulatory readiness and resident safety. </li><li>Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, customer service, and operational excellence within the nursing home setting. </li><li>Partner with leadership during surveys, audits, and inspections while maintaining documentation, vendor coordination, and facility standards to ensure ongoing compliance and uninterrupted facility operations. </li></ul> <p>What minimum requirements you'll need</p> <p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p> <ul> <li>Certification specializing in Healthcare Facilities preferred. </li><li>Contractor specializing in Plumber preferred. </li><li>Engineer preferred. </li><li>Journeyperson preferred. </li><li>Journeyperson specializing in Plumber preferred. </li><li>Maintenance Professional preferred. </li><li>Plumber specializing in Journeyman preferred. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma equivalency and 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree and 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. </li></ul> <p>What additional preferences we're seeking</p> <p>Plus Life Safety Code Knowledge strongly preferred</p> <p>CMS Regulations knowledge strongly preferred</p> <p>Equal employment opportunity employer</p> <p>Ascension provides Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) to all associates and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex/gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions, lactation, breastfeeding, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, all as defined by applicable law, and any other legally protected status or characteristic in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
