Sales Executives Application Engineers and Order Management Specialists in pursuit of sales opportunities As an Application Specialist you will collaborate with the customer to provide guidance regarding product orders and proposal requirements while assuring high levels of customer service and customer satisfaction in accordance with our Core Values Duties and Responsibilities Produce and provide proposals for customer solutions by listening to and evaluating our customers requirements thereby selecting and delivering innovative process control outcomes according to our customers and principals standards and practicesActively participate in growing our valve automation business to meet annual company sales goals targets in our coverage area by promoting and fostering NECIs reputation as a total valve supplier for ball valves butterfly valves valve automation and solutions Includes participating in training developing a sufficient knowledge base of all product lines our company represents being able to readily access all necessary information to develop and cost estimate valve automation solutions and demonstrating a satisfactory competency level to meet the expected standards of performance necessary to deliver valve automation solutions to our customer base in a timely mannerAchieve desired sales results for annual initiatives by participating in NECI and principal new product launches probing and uncovering customer needs and pain points and applying our technology and product solution offeringsProvide support & technical services to customers by assisting users with start up checkout calibration and resolving product andor service problems based on our principals standards and practices along with NECI internal proceduresAdditionally you will be responsible and accountable for following through on all customer orders punctual proposals returns credits and invoicing issues etc to a satisfactory resolution in accordance with our Core ValuesSupport on time delivery by assessing customers needs determining the factories abilities to meet those needs and negotiating mutually agreeable due dates with the customer As appropriate assist in expediting products and services with our suppliers and principals to meet or exceed committed customer expectations This includes anticipating or recognizing situations or circumstances when total customer satisfaction is at risk and taking ownership of resolutionDemonstrate effective communications skills working with cross functional teams to drive timely resolutions as well as illustrate the value we add through our technology offerings and our commitment to world class customer service in support of our customers objectivesIdentify new sales opportunities and ensure consistent service by maintaining accurate customer information data utilizing NECI tools including CRM Customer Relationship Management Sales Force and ERP Enterprise Resource Planning IFS identifying and qualifying new opportunities with our customers and fully supporting our Account and Sales Executives plans and strategies for account growth and penetrationUnderstand and actively participate in our quality management system by adopting our ISO 9000 quality policy and all appropriate elements of our quality management system This will require dedicating your efforts to the reduction elimination and prevention of quality deficiencies and initiating proper actions to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to our products services processes and quality system This also includes your timely participation as required in Corrective and Preventive Action Requests Quality CirclesTeams and collaboration with other Company Departments on continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in the companys safety and health program by understanding and following the established policies and procedures of our Safety and Health Manual notifying appropriate SupervisorsManagers of any observed workplace safety and health compliance issues and implementing appropriate recommendations to help improve our Companys overall Safety and Health ProgramMaintain and develop professional and technical competence by attending periodic factory or principal based training sessions appropriate web based training classesseminars periodic hands on training departmental meetings as well as periodic professional development workshops or classesStay current on changing market conditions and competitor activities affecting our customers and inform supervisormanager and appropriate NECI personnelREQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in business preferred or equivalent combination of an associate degree training and experience0 3 years of work experienceCompetitive Spirit while sales are
