<p>This position will work on a standard five-day full-time work week (40 hours). Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with 4 promotional Sundays per year. Stores are open on certain holidays. Occasional overtime based on business and customer needs.</p> <p>High school diploma, GED equivalent required Related Experience, Qualifications, and/or Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>One to three years of sales/retail/customer service experience; experience in a retail environment a plus </li><li>Flooring knowledge a plus </li><li>Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills a plus </li><li>Computer Skills / Special Equipment Knowledge: Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) </li><li>Outstanding telephone skills </li><li>Experience using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system. </li><li>Ability to drive/operate a forklift required (forklift certification required prior to operating equipment) </li><li>Effective written and verbal skills </li><li>Basic retail math skills </li><li>Regular and predictable attendance and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, frequent weekends (Saturday and Sunday), holidays and overtime as scheduled. </li><li>Adaptable to a fast paced, shifting work environment; willing to remain flexible to accommodate changing business conditions, work requirements, customer, and scheduling needs. </li><li>Attention to detail, ability to focus on the project or task at hand, adherence to Company policies and requirements while consistently delivering error free results. </li></ul>
