<p>Student Services Clerk</p> <p>ESP Support Staff</p> <p>Port Huron, MI</p> <ul> <li>ID: 173646-100 </li><li>Full-Time/Regular </li></ul> <p>Student Services Clerk</p> <p>Terms of Employment: Full-Time, 52 Weeks</p> <p>Classification: ESP</p> <p>Hourly Wage: $16.25 per Hour</p> <p>FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt</p> <p>Hours: 37.5 hours per week</p> <p>Application Deadline: Open until filled</p> <p>Apply online through the "APPLY" link listed below or at www.sc4.edu/jobs</p> <p>Generous Benefits Package Available (per current contractual agreement):</p> <ul> <li>Up to twenty-six (26) paid time off days annually (prorated based on hire date). </li><li>Up to fourteen (14) paid holidays/days closed throughout the year (including time off from December 24 through New Year's Day), depending on hire date. </li><li>Health insurance benefits: Multiple medical health plan options upon date of hire. Employer-paid dental, life, and long-term disability insurance upon date of hire. Reimbursement payments for individuals who are declining medical and/or dental insurance coverage. Up to $500 annual vision/hearing allowance. </li><li>Participation in MPSERS retirement system (includes employer and employee contribution options). </li><li>Scholarship for employees, spouse, and/or dependent children to attend SC4 credit classes covering the full cost of registration fee, tuition, and technology fee (when applicable) per campus guidelines. Additional funds for employment-related education/training each year, upon approval. </li></ul> <p>Job Summary: The Student Services Clerk works with internal and external constituents to provide support and customer service to current and prospective students and visitors to campus.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Understand and adhere to confidentiality requirements, FERPA, and GLBA provisions. </li><li>Communicate information to internal and external customers and assist with customer needs while providing high-level customer service. </li><li>Assist with data entry, file maintenance, document processing, and preparation of reports as assigned. </li><li>Assist with creating, updating, and maintaining student files. </li><li>Assist the department with projects as requested. </li><li>Crosstrain in various areas of the college to effectively provide service. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Supervision Received: General supervision received from the Athletic Director and/or the Vice President of Student Services.</p> <p>Education/Experience: Associate degree preferred. Will consider candidates in process of obtaining an associate's degree. 1-2 years successful related experience preferred. Colleague experience preferred.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with faculty and staff at all levels. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidential information. </li><li>Organized and detail-oriented with high level of accuracy while meeting deadlines. </li><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. </li><li>Strong work ethic, energetic, and self-motivated. </li><li>Team player, advocate and exemplify a cooperative approach to solving problems. </li><li>Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments. </li></ul> <p>For further information, contact SC4 Human Resources at hr@sc4.edu or call 810-989-5534.</p>
