<p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Sr. Manager, Field Training is responsible for designing and leading the deployment of enterprise-wide training initiatives that drive associate engagement, elevate performance, and are aligned with our core values and company objectives. The Senior Manager, Field Training provides guidance and corporate oversight to local Training Managers/Supervisors and facility management. In this capacity, the Sr Manager partners with Operations Leadership and other key stakeholders to drive proper execution and sustainability of training initiatives throughout the organization.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design and deliver training strategies/programs and lead the warehouse Training Managers/Supervisor and on-site leadership teams to successfully implement.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive standardization and proper execution by working collaboratively with onsite Operations leadership teams to ensure training programs are tailored to accommodate site specific business needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide leadership, coaching and mentor Training Managers/Supervisors on site to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.</p> </li><li> <p>Leverage data to analyze and assess impact of training and development programs and then adjusts as necessary for improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Apply knowledge of adult learning principles, coaching skills, and innovative learning solutions to elevate the skill set of our associates and influence performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and observe trainer development sessions and monitor performance for new warehouse trainers, experienced trainers and high potential trainers to ensure personal development and retention.</p> </li><li> <p>Consult with operations teams regarding best practices and integration of same into warehouse training programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and audit performance of warehouse training teams and provide guidance and feedback as appropriate.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in integration planning for mergers, acquisitions, startups.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel Required: 75%</p> </li></ul> <p>Environment</p> <ul> <li> <p>Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)</p> </li><li> <p>Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Specialized Knowledge : Experience leading geographically dispersed teams; Knowledge of instructional design.</p> </li><li> <p>Special Skills : Highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic team player with a passion for training; Strong interpersonal communication skills, conflict resolution, and employee relations skills; Excellent oral and written communication; Flexibility and ability to handle change in a positive manner; Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Physical abilities: : N/A</p> </li><li> <p>Other: : Microsoft Office skills - Intermediate Level</p> </li><li> <p>Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Years Of Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>3+ years of training experience required, including the ability to demonstrate an understanding of adult learning styles and strategies.
