The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will receive, unpack, and examine incoming goods and verify the completeness of shipments against bills of lading and/or other records. Pack and ships outgoing merchandise and keep records of shipments.</p> <p>Your Role in Our Mission:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the daily inventory transactions consisting of purchase order receiving, warehouse transferring, and parts order invoicing. </li><li>Unload and check all received goods for quality, damage, and accuracy of load. </li><li>Coordinate stock of replacement parts to be shipped by packing, completing associated paperwork, and arranging for shipping company to pick up. </li><li>Verify materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate departments or locations. </li><li>Load finished product on flat bed using forklift and complete associated paperwork. </li><li>Use our ERP system, Epicor, to book freight and keep track of orders and inventory. </li><li>When needed, operate s forklift in a safe manner and report all hazards associated with the equipment to the Safety and Maintenance Department. </li><li>Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate personal workflow. </li><li>Assist other individuals in areas when needed. </li></ul> <p>To Perform this Job Successfully:</p> <ul> <li>Prior custodial experience a plus. </li><li>Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others as well as independently. </li><li>Must be able to read, understand, and follow labels/instructions for proper use of cleaning products and supplies. </li><li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Able to handle a high volume of work with little supervision. </li><li>Ability to maintain regular attendance in accordance with company attendance policies. </li></ul> <p>Why New Way Trucks?</p> <ul> <li>Family Owned: Experience a close-knit atmosphere where every team member is valued, and contributions recognized. </li><li>Midwest Values: Integrity, hard work, and community from the core of our operations. </li><li>Innovation at Heart: We are committed to staying ahead of the curve and continually investing in technology and our people. </li><li>Competitive Benefit Package: Competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for professional growth. </li></ul> <p>Are you ready to build your future with New Way?
