<p>PCA Manager, (Full-Time, Exempt)</p> <p>Hours: Monday - Friday, Weekdays, Evenings, and Weekends as necessary</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Responsible for overseeing the daily performance, supervision, and support of personal caregiver staff to ensure residents receive quality care and services. This role provides leadership, staff guidance, scheduling support, and performance oversight while promoting a positive, respectful, and effective work environment. Maintains professional and collaborative relationships with employees, residents, families, and the community, and demonstrates integrity, fairness, accountability, and responsibility in all interactions.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for planning, monitoring, directing and guiding the personal caregiver staff and their work. </li><li>Responsible for the recruitment, orientation, development and evaluation of staff. </li><li>Educate staff on policies, procedures and products. </li><li>Identify individual staff training needs through direct observation or as identified by management; follow up on education and training of staff as a result of disciplinary action. </li><li>Implement performance planning activities, such as performance evaluations, expectations, identifying and setting goals. Perform employee disciplines and terminations as necessary. </li><li>Participate in appropriate committees as required. </li><li>Attend educational seminars as needed to stay informed and updated on the most current information. </li><li>Exercise accountability to the resident by protecting their rights and autonomy. </li><li>Knowledge of state regulations and CBRF regulations. </li><li>Work closely with nursing staff and management staff on issues related to resident concerns as needed. </li><li>Responsible for approving payroll and PTO requests with the assistance of the Scheduler. </li><li>Supports the Mission, Vision, and values of Woodside Senior Communities. </li><li>Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents/tenants in a safe, secure environment. </li><li>Observes care in ensuring the confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee, and operations data as required by HIPAA/HITECH regulations. </li><li>Abides by all applicable statutes and regulations through compliance with the Woodside Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program. </li><li>Completes requirements for in-service training. </li><li>Completes other tasks and duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Accident / Critical Illness / Hospital Indemnity Insurance </li><li>Company paid Life Insurance </li><li>Company paid Long-Term Disability </li><li>Voluntary Short-Term Disability </li><li>Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) </li><li>403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required </li><li>Previous long-term experience strongly preferred </li><li>The ability to properly mentor staff in the performance of their duties as needed is desired </li><li>Have experience in a supervisor/manager role </li><li>Be able to create an environment that will promote the provision of high quality resident care by developing, implementing and evaluating the standards of nursing care </li><li>Have basic computer skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization </li></ul>
