<p>A client of Kforce is seeking a Senior State Tax Specialist to join their team in Saint Louis, MO.</p> <p>Summary: In this role, you will support all aspects of the state income and franchise tax function, including state tax reporting under IFRS, compliance, and identifying state tax planning opportunities. This hybrid position offers an excellent company culture and comprehensive benefits.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and review state and local income and franchise tax returns, including quarterly estimates </li><li>Assist with state tax provisions, compliance calendars, and audit notices </li><li>Research and document state tax positions and legislative updates </li><li>Support M&A due diligence and restructuring projects as needed </li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls* Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA or advanced degree preferred </li><li>2-3+ years of experience in public accounting or a large corporation </li><li>Expertise in state income and franchise tax </li><li>Strong project management, research, and communication skills </li><li>Detail-oriented with proven ability to meet deadlines </li><li>Experience with OneSource and Alteryx preferred </li></ul>
