<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager in Tampa, FL.</p> <p>Duties Include:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, reporting, and consolidations </li><li>Prepare and review timely financial statements for internal and external reporting </li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies </li><li>Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risk </li><li>Coordinate and manage internal and external audits </li><li>Partner with leadership to analyze financial results, budgets, forecasts, and performance trends </li><li>Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions </li><li>Oversee accounting systems, process improvements, and scalability initiatives </li><li>Support integrations related to acquisitions or organizational changes </li><li>Lead, develop, and mentor accounting teams across corporate and operating units* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance </li><li>CPA preferred </li><li>10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including leadership responsibilities </li><li>Experience with multi-entity or complex organizations preferred </li><li>Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting principles </li><li>Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) </li><li>Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills </li><li>Proven ability to lead teams, manage audits, and partner with senior leadership </li></ul>
