<p>Fertigation Supervisor</p> <p>Job Type: Full-Time; Exempt</p> <p>Schedule: Monday to Friday - 6:30 am to 3 pm</p> <p>Staring Salary: $57,000 with 7.5% bonus - base salary flexible based on skills and experience</p> <p>Fertigation Supervisor will ensure all irrigation and nutrient feeding requirements are followed accordingly. Performs installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems. Operates power equipment and hand tools to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems and related components, including irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, control panels, valves, pumps, etc.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop nutrient programs with the Cultivation Manager to ensure strain-specific needs are met. </li><li>Maintain strategy for crop irrigation and feeding schedules using Ridder NutriMIX </li><li>Work closely with the growing team to ensure irrigation plan is appropriately implemented and maintained. </li><li>Maintain inventory of all chemicals and fertilizers on site. </li><li>Ensure fertilizer concentrate tanks are filled adequately </li><li>Respond to system alarms and diagnose/troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively. </li><li>Take measurements, record data, and observations. </li><li>Write and execute Standard Operating Procedures related to fertigation. </li><li>Performs regular calibration of nutrient testing instruments. </li><li>Monitor soil moisture content of the crop and obtain water samples for testing. </li><li>Able to work variable shifts to meet business requirements. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skill, Experience & Education</p> <ul> <li>High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred. </li><li>Two years' experience processing cannabis in a regulated facility preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>This position requires a great deal of sitting, walking, bending, and reaching </li><li>Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks </li><li>Close visual focus required </li><li>This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut/manipulate small objects </li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lb. </li><li>Must be able to pass a respirator fit test </li></ul> <p>Facility Environment</p> <ul> <li>Allergen warnings - Potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens. </li><li>Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol </li><li>All jobs require daily use of provided PPE, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary </li><li>Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms. </li><li>Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels </li><li>High stress tolerance, adaptable, ability to work in an ever-changing environment, flexible </li></ul>
