<p>General Description</p> <p>Pay for this position is based on a 12-month contract. Anticipated start date for this position is August 2025.</p> <p>Salary Range: 0 to 10 years' Experience</p> <p>Up to a Masters: $64,736 to $71,403</p> <p>Doctorate: $73,403 to $80,069</p> <p>The maximum number of years of experience an employee may receive is ten years.</p> <p>The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>This position requires a Cosmetology Operators license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and certificate of cosmetology instructor training of 500 hours or more if the candidate did not previously hold a Cosmetology Operator Instructors' license prior to September 1, 2021. This position is required to meet minimum requirements for teaching at the post-secondary level set by the Southern Association of colleges and Schools, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and accrediting agencies for individual programs.
