This role serves as a critical liaison between Pharmacy, IT, Finance, and external vendors-ensuring program integrity, regulatory adherence, and strong financial performance.</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>The 340B Compliance & IT Coordinator is responsible for maintaining compliant 340B operations through auditing, data analytics, and system optimization. This position plays a key role in monitoring regulatory changes, enhancing reporting structures, and supporting pharmacy IT systems to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant program execution.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee and optimize 340B program compliance through auditing, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as the primary liaison between Pharmacy, internal departments, and external vendors regarding 340B operations</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, implement, and maintain electronic records, reporting tools, and compliance workflows</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and interpret regulatory updates; implement operational changes to ensure ongoing compliance and optimal financial outcomes</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct data analysis and present findings, recommendations, and performance updates to Pharmacy leadership</p> </li><li> <p>Provide technical support for pharmacy IT systems and related workflows</p> </li><li> <p>Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance compliance, efficiency, and reporting accuracy</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience in finance, IT, or accounting)</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy recordkeeping or related fields (business, IT, finance, accounting, or supply chain)</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience with data systems, reporting tools, and recordkeeping software</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-through skills</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in computer applications, including typing (40 WPM) and 10-key calculator use</p> </li><li> <p>Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy</p> </li><li> <p>PTCB certification required within 2 years of hire</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Direct experience with 340B program operations in a health system</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of pharmacy supply chain, ambulatory pharmacy, pharmacy operations, health system IT, reimbursement, and finance</p> </li></ul> <p>Training & Development</p> <ul> <li> <p>Completion of Apexus 340B University</p> </li><li> <p>Completion of Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program</p> </li></ul> <p>Ideal Candidate Profile</p> <ul> <li> <p>Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and accuracy</p> </li><li> <p>Data-driven with the ability to translate analytics into actionable insights</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills</p> </li><li> <p>Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset</p> </li></ul>
