Actively participate in the Wing Flying Hour Working Group for planning, scheduling, and execution of the Wing's Flying Hour Allocation process. Verify and reconcile the accuracy of unit flying hour allocations daily with Wing Operations Group and as directed with NGB AVDO and the Flying Hour Analyst. Manage all assigned major commodity areas (Airframe, Engine, Components and Special Projects). Develop, analyze and evaluate multiple Maintenance Information System(s) (MIS) and various databases reports, charts and graphs to inform senior maintenance management. Actively participate in daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling, and quarterly/yearly planning programs and meetings. Communicate and advise leadership of potential over-utilization conditions. Analyze and improve repair processes, methods, procedures and standards. Research and determine cause for missed maintenance-related scheduled events and document findings as required. Develop local procedures to ensure effective and efficient scheduling of engines, support equipment, and develop, write, and publish guidance for aircraft document reviews.</p> <p>Review both immediate and long-range requirements based on current workload forecasts and conditioned based maintenance and develop plans for obtaining resources to meet production requirements. Plan allocation of resources and distribution of work to ensure production commitments are accomplished as scheduled. Evaluate progress, analyze requirements and availability of resources, communicate changing priorities to work center supervisors to ensure work is accomplished efficiently and deconflict maintenance activities. Monitor and update status of Work In Process (WIP). Coordinate with office of primary responsibility (OPR) on extension requests to maximize efficiency of aircraft availability. Initiate, validate, and submit time change extension requests, as needed. Manage the Configuration Management program.</p> <p>Maintain historical documents and maintenance data essential for aircraft records accuracy. Review and report status of decentralized records to maintenance operations flight supervisor. Act as the wing Aerospace Vehicle Distribution Officer (AVDO), coordinate aircraft transfer between organizations, generate specific documentation (AFTO Form 103, Aircraft/Missile Condition Data). Participate in the development and maintenance of the Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) schedule for all assigned aircraft and equipment.</p> <p>Develop and maintain job standard master listings (JML) for assigned equipment in the MIS in coordination with functional work centers. Responsible for managing assigned weapon system Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) programs. Chair TCTO planning meetings. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: A maximum of 12 months of the required experience may be substituted by successful completion of undergraduate study in an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester hours for 12 months of experience.
