You'll design legally sound, customer-focused policy documentation aligned with market trends and business strategy across Commercial Auto, Small Commercial, and Property & Casualty lines.</p> <p>In this role, you'll analyze data, monitor product performance, and identify opportunities for innovation and growth. You'll support new product launches, regulatory filings, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions. Collaboration is key-you'll work closely with product managers, analysts, and external partners to drive product initiatives forward.</p> <p>This is a strategic, high-impact role ideal for someone passionate about building modern insurance products and ensuring regulatory excellence.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the development of a modern product portfolio that aligns with company market trends, strategies and opportunities, provides consistent and customer focused product offerings. </li><li>Leads and conducts research and analyze data to inform product development opportunities and strategies. Monitor performance of existing product coverage offerings to ensure they provide optimal growth and profitability goals and objectives. </li><li>Lead research, development and maintenance of comprehensive, clear, and legally sound coverage forms and policy documentation. </li><li>Research, design and provide support for launching new products &/or features. </li><li>Provide analytic insights on existing or new market opportunities, identifying emerging trends and risks and translating them into product opportunities. </li><li>Provide product manager and specialist support for product modernization efforts for new and existing form changes and product. </li><li>Responsible in ensuring all insurance products adhere to evolving regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions. </li><li>Provide support for regulatory filing support for product regulatory discussions, public filings, and industry groups. </li><li>Provide filing and implementation support to product specialists or pricing analyst for rules and rates for new and existing product coverage form development. </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, marketing, claims) and external partners (e.g., reinsurers, regulators) to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Mentor and support emerging talent, fostering a culture of ownership and innovation. </li><li>Provide technical support for and training to internal teams and stakeholders as needed. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>Conforms with all corporate policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>What you need</p> <ul> <li>10+ years in Contract Law, Claims litigation or comprehensive Product Development with emphasis on coverage interpretation and contract development required. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree- Prefer law degree (JD) or prior legal experience interpreting law and coverage preferred or Equivalent business experience includes but not limited to contract law, claims litigation or claims coverage counsel </li></ul> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$92,000 - $138,000</p> <p>The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee's work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.</p> <p>BENEFITS:</p> <p>We believe strongly that talented people are core to our success and are attracted to companies that provide competitive pay, comprehensive benefits packages, career advancement and challenging work opportunities.
