Based in East Portal, CO you'll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation, maintenance, calibration, diagnosis, and repair of the equipment, instruments, processes and support systems of an industrial wastewater treatment facility that processes 100K gallons a day. You'll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise in the facilities. You'll operate and monitor a single industrial wastewater treatment plant located in East Portal, CO. Working with ultra membrane filtration, centrifuge operation, sludge decanting/processing, pH/turbidity meters, motorized valves, generators, and more. You'll also be collecting regular compliance samples, performing bench laboratory tests, overseeing contractors on site, and performing other duties as required to keep the treatment plant functioning properly. Most importantly, you'll?take action?to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team.</p> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Experience with industrial production techniques and industrial equipment </li><li>High School Diploma or possession of a GED Certificate </li><li>Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data management software </li><li>Experience working in wastewater treatment. </li><li>A valid driver's license with no major infractions </li></ul> <p>Ideally, You'll Also Have:</p> <ul> <li>A current, or working towards obtaining an intermediate level water/wastewater treatment certification </li><li>Some post high school education related to industrial water/wastewater utility operations and maintenance </li><li>Familiarity of the principles and practices of industrial water/wastewater treatment plant operations, valves, pumps, motors, and sample testing. </li><li>Safe work practices. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions & Physical Requirements</p> <p>The work area can involve a working environment indoors, as well as, outdoors which could cause exposure to outdoor elements; proper environmental attire will be required. Some areas can have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, pathogens and various chemicals. Safety is of the utmost importance. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.</p> <p>Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, twist and bend at the waist, turn, kneel, squat, raise arms above shoulder height, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements and fine coordination when preparing reports and using a computer keyboard, have vision sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents and operate office equipment, have hearing in the normal range with or without correction. In an 8-hour time period must be able to transport self across the facility, ascend and descend stair steps, lift objects up to 50 pounds from floor level to waist height, wear and use appropriate safety equipment.</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>57,600.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>82,280.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
