The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our Pricing & Inventory and Direct Response team, based in our New York, New York, office.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Managing booked business and key accounts</p> </li><li> <p>Developing strong relationships with agency assistants and buyers</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting Account Directors on all aspects of deal management</p> </li><li> <p>Preparing all order letters in order to enter deals into the respective systems. Sending out traffic instructions and tracking down tapes</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining outlists and cut-off times for their respective Account Directors.</p> </li><li> <p>Sending flowcharts and log times to agencies</p> </li><li> <p>Resolving discrepancies with agency assistants/buyers and negotiating makegoods.</p> </li><li> <p>Entering sales plans into WideOrbit.</p> </li><li> <p>Processing allocations, flightings, and move requests.</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree</p> </li><li> <p>0-2 years of experience in?digital?advertising?sales?support or a similar role within the media industry.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous position in sales environment or internship experience a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc)</p> </li><li> <p>Strong written, oral, and communication skills</p> </li></ul> <p>The base compensation range for this position is $47,500, commensurate with experience.
