Your work directly supports healthcare workers, residents, and guests with quality customer service through snack and meal preparation, assembly and cleanup. You'll like working with a purpose while interacting with others in an energetic, caring workplace. In a food and services role, you can deliver a great service experience with delicious meals and a positive attitude.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare food items for assigned area.</p> </li><li> <p>Meet standards established by Leader for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow extended menu and standardized recipes, memorize basic foods allowed on modified diets, use Diet Manual as a reference and keeps work area orderly and sanitary.</p> </li><li> <p>Stock refrigerator, storerooms, work areas with appropriate labeling and dating procedures, food temperature record keeping, breaking down boxes.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve meals/beverages with attention to temperature maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor new employees and assists with their orientation.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead, by example, following Freeman Regional Health Services CARE standards.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School or GED Equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics such as food safety, preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Essential Qualifications:</p> <p>The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
