<p>Essential Responsibilities and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding. </li><li>Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together. </li><li>Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. </li><li>Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment. </li><li>Assembles parts by bolting and riveting. </li><li>Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. </li><li>Be involved with pile driving, pile welding, etc. </li><li>Perform general laborer work when required </li><li>Read and understand blueprints, designs and plans </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>A minimum of 2-6 years of outdoor, structural welding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>Have 3G and 4G Certifications or obtain shortly after being hired (Stick).</p> <p>Must have experience with thick welds (5/8th)</p> <p>Work as a welder majority of the time, but MUST be willing to do laborer work and other responsibilities when welding is not required (Operate heavy equipment, laborer work, carpentry work, finishing work, etc.).</p> <p>Reading blueprints, designs and plans, preferred but not required.</p> <p>Ability to perform welds and tasks on time with meeting standards of quality.</p> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer: We do not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, genetic information, marital status, military status, membership or activity in a local human rights commission, or status with regard to public assistance, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. #LI-KM1</p>
