<p>About the Role:</p> <p>We are looking for a Managing Director of Sales to lead Trident's new sales team, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer relationships. This role is ideal for a results-driven person with high energy and enthusiasm who is ready to take on a leadership position within our organization. A key focus of this role will be training and mentoring new hires on customer acquisition strategies and helping them grow their book of business.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Sales Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Train and cultivate freight brokers in how to win and execute business. </li><li>Motivate brokers in a high frequency sales. </li><li>Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets. </li><li>Identify growth opportunities and expand our customer portfolio. </li><li>Work closely with leadership to align sales efforts with company objectives. </li></ul> <p>Training & Development of Sales Team</p> <ul> <li>Train new hires on sales techniques, prospecting strategies, and closing deals. </li><li>Provide hands-on coaching in cold calling, lead generation, and customer engagement. </li><li>Mentor sales reps on how to grow their book of business, build relationships, and increase wallet share with existing customers. </li><li>Conduct regular training sessions on negotiation, objection handling, and market analysis. </li></ul> <p>Customer Relations</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers. </li><li>Collaborate with capacity to ensure seamless service. </li><li>Negotiate pricing with customers and carriers. </li></ul> <p>Performance & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Monitor sales metrics and track team performance. </li><li>Provide reports and insights to team on sales trends and market activity. </li><li>Continuously assess and improve sales strategies and processes. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership and team development skills. </li><li>Ability to train and mentor new hires in customer acquisition and business growth strategies. </li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. </li><li>Knowledge of TMS and CRM platforms. </li><li>Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets. </li><li>High energy and enthusiasm for sales and leadership </li></ul> <p>Why Apply?</p> <ul> <li>Opportunity for career growth within our company. </li><li>Leadership role with direct impact on company success. </li><li>Chance to develop and mentor the next generation of top-performing sales reps. </li></ul> <p>Application Deadline: May 12th</p> <p>Trident Transport is an Equal Opportunity Employer seeking candidates without regard to age, race, national origin, gender, disability, veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation or any other protected status.</p>
