In conjunction with Practice Manager, supervises clinical personnel and facilitates day-to-day operations within the Clinic structure as it relates to the clinical staff.</p> <p>Formal Education Required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) </li><li>Applicants with an Associate's degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment </li><li>Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) </li><li>Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio </li></ul> <p>Experience & Training Required</p> <ul> <li>One (1) year of RN experience; experience in clinic, physician office environment, or healthcare facility working with the department-specific patient population preferred. </li></ul> <p>Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>CPR certification </li><li>Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to five and evaluate patient care </li><li>Knowledge or organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care </li><li>Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care </li><li>Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment </li><li>Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide ongoing patient care </li><li>Skill in taking medical history to assess medical condition and interpret findings, and maintain strict confidentiality. </li><li>Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence </li><li>Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance </li><li>Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public </li><li>Ability to maintain quality control standards </li><li>Ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency </li><li>Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly </li><li>Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity </li></ul> <p>Level of Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Heavy: Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</p> <p>$34.74/hr - $41.69/hr</p> <p>The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
