<p>Nicolaysen Art Museum Education Development VISTA</p> <p>The Nicolaysen Art Museum (The NIC) is the only museum in Wyoming dedicated to contemporary art and acts as the cultural anchor for our community by providing fine art exhibitions, educational programming, performances, cultural events, and space for community groups to gather. The NIC provides art education classes for adults and children from Preschool-12th grade and partners with community organizations on arts education programs for veterans, seniors, dementia care patients, grieving children, and adults with developmental disabilities. The NIC plays a meaningful role in addressing poverty by expanding access to education, fostering community connection, and supporting social well-being through the arts. The NIC's partnerships with community organizations further extend its impact to populations that are often disproportionately affected by poverty, including veterans, seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those experiencing grief or cognitive decline. Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.</p> <p>Member Duties : VISTA member will develop the tools and processes necessary to increase access to education and artistic experiences for families and individuals at The NIC. VISTA will be critical to the development of objectives and outcomes associated with strengthening support of the NIC's educational and outreach programs. VISTA will also develop the tools for staff to implement a structured professional volunteer program to bolster capacity for and access to educational programming. VISTA will develop a marketing communications plan to increase community awareness of NIC programs and fundraising activities.
