Facilitates recreational activities and leadership programming to groups of approximately 12 campers. Collaborates with Stone Canyon Administration and Staff to provide an excellent camp experience for all campers. Creates meaningful connections with all campers. Facilitates cohesiveness and bonding between campers in the residential setting.</p> <p>Position Specific Information (if Applicable):</p> <p>This seasonal position runs from 5/22/2026 - 7/24/2026</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Assist with daily activity setup and teardown</p> <p>Oversee campers' activities and behavior at all times, escalate concerns when necessary</p> <p>Support kitchen staff and supervise campers during meal times</p> <p>Observes and models all District Policies and Procedures</p> <p>Communicate all camper concerns (behavior, health, emotional) to Director with proper documentation if needed</p> <p>Inform Director of any program materials that need to be purchased</p> <p>Work directly with challenge course leads to run adventure activities</p> <p>Assist in daily site upkeep (general cleaning of residential and program areas)</p> <p>Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all campers</p> <p>Be available to assist in-cabin as needed</p> <ul> <li>Plan, prepare and facilitate 60-90 minute recreational activities for campers </li></ul> <p>Perform other duties as assigned or requested</p> <p>Lead songs and group games</p> <p>Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with coworkers and with visiting clients.</p> <p>Certifications:</p> <p>CPR - Red Cross, First Aid - Red Cross</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>High School or Equivalent</p> <p>Skills:</p> <p>Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with coworkers and with visiting clients, Able to learn and execute the lessons and activities in the Leadership Curriculum, Advanced verbal and written English communication skills and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written, graphic and oral instructions, Easily approachable, able to have fun with kids, laugh at yourself and be silly!, Has the ability to meet attendance standards and work the hours necessary to perform the essential functions of the job, Strong organizational and time management skills</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Seasonal</p> <p>Primary Location:</p> <p>Outdoor Education Center</p> <p>One Year Only (Yes or No):</p> <p>No</p> <p>Scheduled Hours Per Week:</p> <p>40</p> <p>FTE:</p> <p>1.00</p> <p>Approx Scheduled Days Per Year:</p> <p>0 Work Days</p> <ul> <li>(260 days indicates a year-round position.
