<p>This position serves as the Logistics Management Specialist - Assistant Chief Supply Chain Officer (ACSCO), assisting the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) with the development and integration of a supply chain that ensures the logistical requirement of the VA Health Care Systems and supported catchment areas are met.</p> <p>Major Duties include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Oversees, guides, manages and integrates supply chain operations across the organization; </li><li>Plans and coordinates fiscal, acquisition, clinical and administrative operations; </li><li>Establishes, monitors and manages the performance and measurement of logistics functions for all aspects of the supply chain; </li><li>Conducts logistics audits, compliance reviews and program effectiveness/efficiency reviews; </li><li>Manages all activities involved in the supply chain management to include sourcing, procurement and logistics management activities; </li><li>Responsible for linking major business functions and processes within the organization into a cohesive and high performing business model; </li><li>Forecast planning and budget execution for supplies, subsistence, durable medical equipment, medical gases, expendable/non-expendable and capital equipment, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation and distribution; </li><li>Leads and/or participates in regular meetings, ensuring logistics needs and requirements are being met; </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm</p> <p>Virtual: This is not a virtual position.</p> <p>Position Description/PD#: Logistics Management Specialist/PD99838-S</p> <p>Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized</p> <p>Critical Skills Incentive (CSI): Not Approved</p> <p>Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized</p>
