<p>Heavy Equipment Operator:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to operate at a High Production speed on the following machines: Bulldozer, Excavator, Motor Grader, Skid Steer, Mini-Ex, Haul Truck, Front End Loader, and Rollers. Any Finishing experience is a plus. </li><li>Create level surfaces, grade slopes to specifications, remove material and thoroughly fill voids using plans or our survey team for guidance. </li><li>Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventive maintenance tasks and/or making minor repairs as required. </li><li>Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure that it is in proper operating condition. </li><li>Work with the Superintendent or Foreman to help ensure that work is flowing smoothly throughout the day. </li><li>Help the Superintendents and Foreman identify areas needing improvement in our production processes. </li><li>Perform general labor as needed. </li><li>Attend training and safety meetings </li><li>Store and clean machinery at its designated location and note any deficiencies </li><li>Familiar with staking and checking grade </li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to process information quickly and accurately </li><li>Takes direction well and strives to increase knowledge and ability on given machines. </li><li>Must know the consistency of material and understand compaction techniques </li></ul>
