<p>The Department of Finance and Real Estate in the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Real Estate at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin in Fall of 2026.</p> <p>Located in the heart of Chicago's financial and business community, DePaul University's real estate program is a recognized leader in professional real estate education in the Midwest. The programs emphasize applied learning in areas such as:</p> <ul> <li>Real estate finance and investment </li><li>Real estate development and project management </li><li>Market analysis and valuation </li><li>Legal and regulatory issues </li><li>Multifamily housing policy and finance </li><li>Structuring real estate transactions </li></ul> <p>The program offers three degrees: an undergraduate degree in real estate, an MBA concentration in real estate finance and investment, and an MS degree in real estate (MSRE).</p> <p>The successful candidate will be expected to:</p> <ul> <li>Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in real estate </li><li>Produce and publish high-quality academic research </li><li>Engage with faculty colleagues and contribute to the department's academic environment </li><li>Participate in university, college, and departmental service activities </li><li>Support student recruitment, mentoring, and retention </li><li>Contribute to the visibility and impact of the real estate program through active involvement in workshops, events, and industry engagement. </li></ul>
