We also promote a healthy work/life balance.</p> <p>The Department of Specialty Courts has an opening for a Mental Health Court Case Manager in Campbell County.</p> <p>Characteristics of the Job: Characteristics of a job are general statements indicating the level of responsibility and discretion of positions in that job classification. These are not intended to be an exhaustive list. The Mental Health Court Case Manager serves as a multi-function member of the northern Kentucky regional mental health court (NKRMHC) services team; provides oversight, coordination, delivery of services and supports to clients diagnosed with severe mental illness and deemed eligible for the NKRMHC program across the three-county service region. This team member works collaboratively with all other NKRMHC staff and other community agencies/professionals, attends court regularly, and is responsible for documentation of case notes and court reports.</p> <p>Examples of Duties or Responsibilities of This Classification:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a caseload of mentally ill participants. </li><li>Meet individually with clients to review treatment plans, progress, and update goals. </li><li>Refer and assist with linkage for clients to needed services. </li><li>Conduct frequent and regular community-based meetings/home visits with clients. </li><li>Monitor client symptoms, behavior, relapse, and medication compliance. </li><li>Document interactions with clients and/or community agencies/professionals. </li><li>Attend court dockets and provide the judge with status of participants' progress. </li><li>Participate in regular team meetings with NKRMHC staff, community treatment teams, and probation and parole officers. </li><li>Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in related field</p> <p>EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Associates degree and related job experience will substitute for bachelor's degree</p> <p>Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE</p> <p>Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE</p> <p>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Automobile insurance and ability to transport clients in personal vehicle. Knowledge of the criminal justice system. Knowledge of the function and jurisdiction of the court.
