<p>The Senior Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Systems Analyst plays a strategic role in optimizing healthcare revenue cycle operations through advanced data analysis, system configuration, and process improvement. This role requires deep expertise in SQL, PowerBI, Excel, and RCM systems, along with a strong understanding of healthcare billing regulations and coding standards. The senior analyst leads initiatives to improve financial performance, reduce denials, and ensure compliance, while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead the development and optimization of SQL queries and data pipelines across multiple data sources including Databricks and SQL Server </li><li>Design and maintain advanced PowerBI dashboards for executive-level reporting and strategic decision-making </li><li>Perform complex data analysis using Excel and BI tools to identify trends, revenue leakage, and operational inefficiencies </li><li>Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot RCM systems, including setting up profiles, tables, and procedure manuals </li><li>Ensure compliance with State and Federal billing regulations, including CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10 coding standards </li><li>Identify and resolve system errors and root cause issues within the revenue cycle </li><li>Collaborate with leadership, billing staff, and other departments to align documentation with billing requirements </li><li>Recommend and implement changes to optimize RCM workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure timely reimbursements </li><li>Manage relationships with RCM system vendors and oversee system upgrades and implementations </li><li>Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle processes, reduce denials, and enhance collections </li><li>Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team goals through knowledge sharing and leadership </li></ul> <p>Other Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Participate in process improvement initiatives, including definition, measurement, and implementation of controls </li><li>Contribute to team goals through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentorship </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare, Management, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field required </li><li>A minimum of six (6) years of experience in revenue cycle management, medical billing, or RCM systems required </li><li>Expertise in SQL, PowerBI, Excel, and healthcare financial systems required </li><li>Experience with system administrator functions for configuration and maintenance of billing systems required </li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills required </li></ul> <p>Aegis Sciences Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
