This is a fully onsite role for a senior-level systems engineer who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys owning server builds from design through delivery.</p> <p>In this role, you will act as a technical lead and coordinator, partnering with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to build highly available servers across the full technology stack. You will manage multiple server builds simultaneously, ensure system reliability and performance, and communicate progress clearly to both technical teams and leadership.</p> <p>This opportunity is ideal for professionals with deep experience in AIX, Linux, WebSphere, Oracle, and enterprise server environments who are looking for meaningful, long-term work with stability, visibility, and growth potential.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design, build, test, and deliver highly available servers end-to-end</p> </li><li> <p>Engineer systems infrastructure using industry-standard operating systems and tools</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and guide technical teams to complete server builds efficiently</p> </li><li> <p>Manage multiple server builds at various stages simultaneously</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and implement hardware and software solutions aligned with enterprise standards</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability</p> </li><li> <p>Produce clear technical documentation, status reports, and executive-level summaries</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Support data governance and compliance best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills / Education:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)</p> </li><li> <p>4-6 years of hands-on systems engineering experience in enterprise environments</p> </li><li> <p>Strong experience with IBM AIX and Linux operating systems</p> </li><li> <p>Experience supporting WebSphere and Oracle environments</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience building servers across the full infrastructure stack</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to act as a technical coordinator or lead across matrixed teams</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts, tools, and best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Experience producing technical documentation and leadership-level summaries</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in highly regulated or high-availability environments</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with data governance frameworks</p> </li><li> <p>Experience onboarding or mentoring junior engineers</p> </li></ul> <p>About Seneca Resources</p> <p>At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm - we are a trusted career partner.
