<p>Job Summary/Objective:</p> <p>The FP&A Analyst supports NextEdge's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. This role provides meaningful insights to help guide decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, enjoys working with data, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning. </li><li>Analyze monthly financial performance, identify variances, and prepare summary reports for management. </li><li>Partner with operations, accounting, and leadership teams to understand business drivers and help inform financial decisions </li><li>Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages. </li><li>Perform ad-hoc financial analysis, including scenario modeling and evaluation of business initiatives. </li><li>Contribute to the development and refinement of financial processes, tools, and reporting standards. </li><li>Support the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with organizational goals. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. </li><li>2-3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related finance role. </li></ul> <p>Additional Eligibility Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and data interpretation. </li><li>Strong Excel skills; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems. </li><li>Strong working knowledge of BI/dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), including building and maintaining reports/dashboards. </li><li>Solid understanding of financial statements and core business performance metrics. </li><li>Ability to use data and modeling tools to generate actionable insights. </li><li>Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-financial audiences. </li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail and accuracy. </li></ul> <p>Competencies Required:</p> <ul> <li>Communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders and tailors messages to the audience. </li><li>High level of accuracy and commitment to quality. </li><li>Curiosity and a desire to understand business operations and drivers. </li><li>Effective collaboration with cross-functional partners. </li><li>Adaptability; remains effective amid changing priorities. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel Required:</p> <ul> <li>This is a full-time, office-based role that requires the employee to work onsite during standard business hours. </li><li>The position involves extended periods of sitting, working at a computer, and participating in in-person meetings and collaboration activities. </li><li>Minimal travel may be required for training or business needs. </li></ul> <p>AAP/EEO Statement</p> <p>NextEdge provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
