<p>The Role:</p> <p>As a Principal HRIS Analyst, Workday HCM at Moderna, you will lead the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of Workday solutions across Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, as well as Compensation, Reporting, and Integrations. You'll collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant solutions that drive business efficiency. We're seeking a highly motivated expert with a strong track record supporting complex Workday environments in fast-paced, high-growth settings.</p> <p>Here's What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead the configuration and delivery of Workday solutions for Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Compensation (Core and Advanced).</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a functional and technical subject matter expert across assigned Workday modules.</p> </li><li> <p>Support cross-functional initiatives involving Workday security, integrations, and enterprise reporting.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive continuous improvement through process redesign, configuration optimization, and adoption of Workday best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure scalable, maintainable configurations that meet global and local compliance requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Own Workday release management, including research, testing, and deployment of new features.</p> </li><li> <p>Advise business stakeholders on solution design, system capabilities, and configuration impacts.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage work independently, with proactive status updates, issue resolution, and timeline ownership.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate across HR, IT, and business functions to drive integrated solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate clearly to ensure alignment on timelines, risks, and outcomes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Here's What You'll Need (Basic Qualifications):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>7+ years of hands-on Workday configuration and solution delivery experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Deep expertise in Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Reporting, Integrations, and Core/Advanced Compensation.</p> </li><li> <p>Workday Pro or former Workday implementer certification, ideally in Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Advanced Reporting; additional certifications in Core HCM and Compensation are a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience supporting global Workday environments, including compliance with multi-country regulatory requirements.</p> </li></ul> <p>Here's What You'll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Additional certifications in Absence, Payroll, or Time Tracking (if not already held).</p> </li><li> <p>Strong ability to influence and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>High attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced, agile environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable, sustainable solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with agile frameworks and tools (e.g., JIRA) to manage delivery and releases.</p> </li><li> <p>A desire to make an impact as part of a high-growth, transformational company that is Bold, Relentless, Curious, and Collaborative.</p> </li></ul> <p>At Moderna, we believe that when you feel your best, you can do your best work.
