<p>Leasing Agent</p> <p>Location: NE Portland, OR (Onsite - Market Rate Property)</p> <p>Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.00/hour (DOE)</p> <p>Employment Type: Contract with potential for permanent hire</p> <p>Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, Full-Time</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>LHH Recruitment is seeking a customer-focused Leasing Agent to support leasing operations at a market-rate residential property in NE Portland. This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective residents and plays a key role in driving occupancy through exceptional service, strong leasing follow-up, and professional property presentation. This is a contract opportunity with strong potential to convert to a permanent role for the right fit.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Greet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, and via email </li><li>Conduct professional apartment tours and highlight community features and amenities </li><li>Respond promptly to leasing inquiries, online leads, and walk-ins </li><li>Support the application and screening process in accordance with Fair Housing guidelines </li><li>Prepare and execute lease documentation </li><li>Coordinate move-ins and move-outs and assist with basic unit inspections </li><li>Maintain accurate prospect and resident records in the property management system </li><li>Support marketing efforts to promote available units </li><li>Provide excellent customer service to current residents and collaborate with onsite teams as needed </li><li>Maintain a clean, welcoming leasing office and community appearance </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>1+ year of leasing, property management, or related customer-facing experience </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Strong customer service and interpersonal skills </li><li>Excellent communication and follow-up abilities </li><li>Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced onsite environment </li><li>Familiarity with Fair Housing standards (training preferred) </li><li>Proficiency with basic computer systems; property management software experience is a plus </li></ul> <p>Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour</p> <p>Search managed by: Ashley Armstrong</p> <p>Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
