Key duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Inspecting railcars for damage, wear, and serviceability </li><li>Performing repairs and documenting inspections and completed work </li><li>Identifying repair needs beyond company capabilities </li><li>Lubricating components and applying required stenciling </li><li>Assisting with railcar cleaning and preparation </li><li>Operating company vehicles and equipment, including pickups, ATVs, </li></ul> <p>Tractors, and service vehicles.</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining a clean work area and following all safety procedures </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Railcar repair or rail industry experience preferred </li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills </li><li>Welding experience required (4G, 5G, and Stick Welding) </li><li>Ability to safely use hand and power tools </li><li>Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks </li><li>Valid driver's license required </li></ul> <p>About Road & Rail Services</p> <p>Founded in 1987, Road & Rail Services is a leading North American provider of rail-related services, including terminal operations, railcar inspection and repair, and field maintenance.
