<p>Job Description Provides Quality Assurance Support to Production Teams. Works with limited Direct Supervision.</p> <p>Performs Inspections, such as Dimensional, Visual, Surface Roughness, and Paint Thickness covering</p> <p>machined and non-machined items, subassembly, assembly, fabrications and complete systems.</p> <p>Verifies Conformance with Product Specifications. Performs other Plant duties as assigned.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li>Ensures Parts, Components, and Assemblies are conforming to Engineered Blueprints and are in </li></ol> <p>compliance with Quality Requirements, i.e. Work Instructions and MIL standards.</p> <ol start="2"> <li>Prepares, executes and maintains various Inspection Records, Forms, Reports and Quality Record </li></ol> <p>Files as required.</p> <ol start="3"> <li>Ensures proper care and maintenance of Inspection Equipment, such as Micrometers, Calipers, and </li></ol> <p>Height Gauges, Surface Plate etc.</p> <ol start="4"> <li>Conducts audits that encompass physical product, tooling, fixturing documentation and process </li></ol> <p>control system.</p> <ol start="5"> <li>Works from Engineering Drawings, Inspection Procedure, Military and Commercial Specifications, </li></ol> <p>Purchase Orders, Technical Hand Book, Written Requirements, Sketches or Charts and record the</p> <p>correct Disposition of Accept or Reject and record it in the correct data base. (Oracle, EFIR,</p> <p>TipQA.)</p> <ol start="6"> <li> <p>Work with Minimum Supervision.</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor Grade 5 & 6 Auditors in performing their duties.Required Education, Experience, & Skills than 1 year.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have met all VUOC Quality Auditor I skills and requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to Read and Interpret Engineered 2D, 3D blueprints and apply to inspection criteria.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have the knowledge and familiarization of Precision Measuring Equipment, such as:</p> </li></ol> <p>Surface Plate, Height Gauge, Digital Calipers, Steel Rules, Faro Arm, Ring Gauges, and Pin Gauges.</p> <ol start="5"> <li>Must demonstrate the understanding of the quality assurance systems and perform the following </li></ol> <p>business system transactions: (1) Proficient in Oracle (Quality results data entry); (2) Proficient in</p> <p>TipQA (NCR data entry); (3) Proficient in EFIR System Programs (vehicle data entry).</p> <ol start="6"> <li> <p>Must have the ability to use basic data entry skills while using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work with attention to detail and applying written requirements to components.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to read and understand the decimal system and fraction tables.</p> </li><li> <p>Must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have knowledge of welding, reading weld symbols, and interpret weld drawings.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have demonstrated proficiency in all quality inspection areas for one vehicle or process.</p> </li></ol> <p>Pay Information</p> <p>This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.</p> <p>Employee Benefits: At BAE Systems, we support our employees in all aspects of their life including health and financial well-being.
