<p>ANNOUNCEMENT</p> <p>Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the part-time SWIC Educational Employee position of Personal Advocate.</p> <p>POSITION DESCRIPTION</p> <p>In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the Personal Advocate will provide community outreach and individualized support with the completion of the Free Application of Federal Student Aid, financial literacy, as well as other services related to Financial Aid, Veteran Services and Student Employment.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ol> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in social science, education, or a related field is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Two years of professional experience is required. Prior experience in an educational or training institution is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of word processing, and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Office) preferred.</p> </li></ol> <p>PAY AND HOURS</p> <p>$21.56 per hour, up to 28 hours per week.</p> <p>BENEFITS & PERKS</p> <p>Benefit availability and eligibility may vary from the summary listed below.
