We serve pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, as well as adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.</p> <p>PURPOSE STATEMENT:</p> <p>The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides quality ABA services to the patients on the</p> <p>Specialty Pediatric Unit. In addition, the BCBA serves as the professional who develops and implements ongoing services to the staff.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the implementation of ABA programming on the Specialized Pediatric Unit </li><li>Provides supervision to the Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Associates </li><li>Trains new staff on ABA techniques </li><li>Keeps abreast of advances in treatment and sets appropriate goals for self-improvement </li><li>Facilitates daily team meetings </li><li>Attends staff meetings as required and completes all yearly mandatory in-services </li><li>Provides direct services to the patients on the Specialized Pediatric Unit </li><li>Conducts the appropriate assessments including ADOS and other specific assessments in a </li></ul> <p>timely manner</p> <ul> <li>Participates in performance improvement activities </li><li>Follows all hospital policies and procedures </li><li>Must maintain license or certification in good standing </li><li>Flexible schedule.
