Join the AdvanSix team today and advance with us!</p> <p>What you'll be doing:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Build and lead the enterprise data and analytics strategy by understanding end-to-end business processes, mapping data flows across functions, and establishing strong data lineage and governance to ensure consistency, traceability, and trust.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop a modern, scalable, and AI-ready data platform by integrating IT and OT data to enable real-time data liquidity, machine learning, prescriptive/predictive analytics, and root cause problem-solving-driving improvements in operations, quality, and decision-making.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish robust data science, visualization, and advanced modeling capabilities that deliver actionable insights and solve critical business problems across functions such as supply chain, finance, manufacturing, and customer operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Foster creation of a data-driven culture: Advancing relevant competencies and data literacy across the enterprise; lead these transformation efforts by developing D&A talent and maturing the capability of the organization; Help leadership and team members across the organization to use data and data products more effectively</p> </li><li> <p>Promote self-service analytics and decision intelligence by enabling intuitive, governed tools and platforms that empower business users to explore and utilize data without IT dependency.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure comprehensive data security, privacy, and compliance, embedding best practices and controls across the data lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information and meet regulatory requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Champion data literacy across the organization by designing and leading targeted training, education, and change management initiatives-helping business teams understand the value of data and how to use it to drive outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and maintain trust in data assets: Institute governance mechanisms for data and algorithms used for analysis, analytical applications and automated decision making; establish data governance to promote data access, quality, and analytical capability, including training, data stewardship, and data standards</p> </li><li> <p></p> </li><li>Partner closely with technology, digital, and business leadership to ensure analytics initiatives are aligned to strategic goals and clearly tied to measurable business outcomes. <p></p> </li><li> <p>Continuously innovate by evaluating emerging technologies: Includes AI/ML, graph analytics, vector databases, and intelligent data agents-by running proofs of concept and scaling the most impactful solutions for analytics acceleration.</p> </li><li> <p>Be a talent ambassador, leading and coaching: Identify and develop a small team of D&A professionals; manage, coach, and develop direct report as well as coach and mentor individuals across the organization in use of D&A products</p> </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring to the table:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science or related fields; master's preferred </li><li>10+ years progressively responsible relevant experience in data management, including creating partnerships, implementing data governance, and understanding the underlying technologies needed to enable data innovation across a midsized or large organization; 5+ years as people focused leader </li><li>Demonstrated success driving enterprise-wide programs and creating business value - organizational growth, productivity, risk reduction, and / or cost reduction </li><li>Experience developing data strategy, policies, and procedures </li><li>Experience creating capabilities that enable data discovery and ensure data quality </li></ul> <p>What will enable your success:</p> <ul> <li>Proven track record leading multidisciplinary talent teams in new endeavors and delivering solutions.
