<p>Job Title: Director of Campus Undergraduate Admissions</p> <p>Department: Admissions</p> <p>Reports To: Chief Online, Enrollment & Student Experience Officer</p> <p>Job Type: This is a full time, exempt position.</p> <p>General Description:</p> <p>The Director of Campus Undergraduate Admissions is the university's senior enrollment strategist for traditional undergraduate programs. Reporting directly to the Chief Student Experience Officer and serving on the President's Cabinet, this position leads all aspects of undergraduate admissions, marketing, territory management, enrollment forecasting, transfer agreements, scholarship management, and discount rate strategy.</p> <p>The Director of Campus Undergraduate Admissions combines strong executive business acumen with higher education leadership, overseeing recruitment, marketing, fiscal operations, CRM technology (Jenzabar and Salesforce), and cross-campus collaboration to achieve university enrollment and net revenue goals.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Strategic Enrollment Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement a comprehensive undergraduate admissions and enrollment plan aligned with William Woods University's strategic priorities. </li><li>Drive inquiry generation, recruitment activities, and territory management strategies to meet or exceed enrollment targets. </li><li>Create and maintain enrollment forecasting models to support institutional planning and resource allocation. </li><li>Lead scholarship awarding strategies in collaboration with Financial Aid to balance enrollment growth, net tuition revenue, and discount rate goals. </li></ul> <p>Marketing, Advertising, and Inquiry Generation</p> <ul> <li>Direct multi-channel marketing and advertising campaigns in partnership with Marketing and Communications to enhance brand awareness and inquiry growth. </li><li>Oversee targeted communications plans for specific student populations (e.g., first-time freshmen, transfers, international students, athletes). </li><li>Regularly assess campaign effectiveness and pivot strategies based on real-time data analytics. </li></ul> <p>CRM and Data Management</p> <ul> <li>Utilize Jenzabar (J1) SIS and Salesforce CRM to optimize the admissions funnel, communication workflows, engagement, and reporting. </li><li>Maintain a culture of data-driven decision-making by overseeing the development and use of dashboards, predictive models, and performance metrics. </li></ul> <p>Territory Management and Outreach</p> <ul> <li>Oversee a territory management model, with geographically dispersed Assistant Directors of Admissions (ADA), to ensure strategic allocation of recruitment resources and maximize conversion rates. </li><li>Manage ADA travel schedules, high school visits, and community-based organization engagement to build strong external pipelines. </li></ul> <p>Transfer Partnerships and Articulation Agreements</p> <ul> <li>Work collaboratively with Academic Affairs to establish and maintain articulation agreements with community colleges, trade schools, and other educational entities to facilitate seamless transfer pathways for potential students. </li><li>Lead partnership-building efforts with external organizations to expand enrollment pipelines. </li></ul> <p>Fiscal and Operational Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Develop and manage the admissions operating budget, ensuring resources are allocated strategically and expenditures are aligned with priorities. </li><li>Collaborate with Financial Aid, Academic Affairs, & Athletics to optimize scholarship distribution strategies to achieve desired enrollment, discount rate, and net tuition revenue outcomes. </li><li>Monitor and manage institutional discount rates in consultation with the CFO and Chief Student Experience Officer (CXO). </li></ul> <p>Staff and Organizational Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing admissions staff, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence. </li><li>Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for team members. </li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless recruitment-to-enrollment experience for students. </li></ul> <p>University Representation</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a key external representative for the university to high schools, community colleges, CBOs, professional organizations, and the broader community. </li><li>Actively engage in national and regional enrollment management professional organizations. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree required; doctorate preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in college admissions or enrollment management. </li><li>Extensive experience with CRM systems, especially Jenzabar and Salesforce. </li><li>Strong background in enrollment forecasting, territory management, and scholarship/discount rate management. </li><li>Demonstrated success in developing and managing marketing and advertising strategies. </li><li>Proven experience in managing articulation agreements and building transfer pipelines. </li><li>Advanced executive business acumen, including strategic budgeting and financial forecasting. </li><li>Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Ability to build cross-campus partnerships and external relationships. </li><li>Willingness to travel extensively and work evenings and weekends as needed. </li></ul> <p>Core Performance Indicators:</p> <ul> <li>New Student Enrollment: Achieve annual new student enrollment targets for first-time freshmen and transfer students. </li><li>Inquiry-to-Application Conversion Rate: Maintain or improve conversion rates from inquiries to applications. </li><li>Application-to-Enrollment Yield: Meet or exceed established benchmarks for application yield and enrollment. </li><li>Net Tuition Revenue: Contribute to meeting institutional net revenue goals through strategic management of discount rate and scholarship awards. </li><li>Discount Rate Management: Maintain discount rate within strategic targets while achieving enrollment goals. </li><li>Transfer Enrollment Growth: Increase the number of transfer students through articulation agreements and community college partnerships. </li><li>Marketing ROI: Demonstrate measurable ROI on advertising and recruitment marketing initiatives. </li><li>Staff Development and Retention: Develop a high-performing admissions team with strong staff retention and professional growth. </li><li>Operational Efficiency: Implement admissions process improvements that result in enhanced student experience and operational savings. </li><li>Data Accuracy and CRM Utilization: Achieve high data integrity standards within Jenzabar, Salesforce, and JRM platforms. </li></ul> <p>Typical Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. </li><li>Ability to travel domestically as needed. </li><li>Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds occasionally. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>This is a full-time, exempt executive leadership position requiring a minimum of 40+ hours per week.
